Sometimes we may lost the password due to various reasons like forgetting, changing by others, etc. You may think it is impossible because you create the account and set the password. But it just happens without any sign.
Before that, please make sure whether your Caps Lock is turned on when entering the password. Because Windows password is case sensitive. If you sure the password you entered is corrected and do not have the password reset disk, then you can have a try of the following method to change Windows 10 password or reset Windows 10 password without reset disk.
Method 1: Change Windows 10 Password in Safe Mode
Computer can not boot normally could be caused by system crash, but we still can enter the system with safe mode as well as change password in it. Follow these steps to start your PC in Safe mode and change the Windows 10 password.
Tips: When you recover Windows 10 password with command prompt, you need to know an administrator account with password. If you do not know, please move to method 2.
Step 1: Press F8 before the Windows 10 loading screen.
Step 2: Choose a Windows 7 safe mode option – “Safe Mode with Command Promote” and then please press “Enter” to next step.
Step 3: Wait for Windows 7 to load files . And type net user in the Command Prompt and press Enter to see how many user accounts in locked laptop.
Step 4: Type your locked user account with a new password in the command prompt.
Step 5: After restarting the laptop, please login the account with the new set password.
Method 2: Use a Window 10 Password Reset Disk
If the administrator account in your computer has been disabled or locked just like the other account in Windows 10, you will not be able to change the password in Safe Mode. Do not be panic. You still can regain access to your computer with reliable method here.

Steps of Removing the Password of Your Computer
Step 1: Download and install Renee Passnow. Create a Live USB/CD which is the password reset disk.
Now, Renee PassNow is compatible with Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP/2000 and support reset password for both local account and Microsoft account. You can insert a USB stick to your PC and create a live USB. Select one option from [Crate a Live USB] and [Create a Live CD]. Then, select [x64] or [x86] according to your computer. Step 2: Start your target PC and change the boot order in BIOS.
First Insert the live USB/CD in your laptop. Secondly, change the boot order of the target PC in BIOS. Please change the USB you just made to be bootable disk to be the first in BIOS. If the bootable media is not the first in the boot order, your laptop will start “normally” (i.e. boot from your hard drive) and will not check your disc drive.
After successfully changing the boot order, please save the BIOS and reboot your laptop.

Step 3: Reset Windows admin/login password.
Enter the program and select the “Passnow” function.
Step 4: Select a target account and click “Cleasr Password” to reset its login password.
Beside remove the password directly, you can also create a new administrator account to manage the account and the related password.
