HEIC (High Efficiency Image File Format) is the image format developed by MPEG, and adopted by Apple in iOS11. Compared to JPEG, HEIC saves 50% storage space and keeps the well image quality. 2. Convert HEIC to JPG: Send HEIC to Android

If you want to view the HEIC photos on Android, you can send them to Android by email and then download to save on Android. HEIC will be converted to JPG in this process.

It is noted that a mail can only hold the photos up to 20MB. Here are the steps about how to convert HEIC to JPG by email:

Step 1: Go to [Photos] and select the target photos. Then, tap the Share button.

Step 2: Select [Mail].

Go to [Settings] – [Photos] – [Formats]. Change to select [Most Compatible]. Then, the photos will be saved as JPG.
