So, how to convert iPhone video to MP4? Here are some approaches.
Approach 1: FFmpeg
FFmpeg is an open-source software, widely used for recording, audio and video transcoding and stream converting. Next, we convert iPhone video to MP4 through FFmpeg.
Step 1. Search [ffmpeg] online. In the official website, click [Download].
Step 2. Click the Windows icon > [Windows Builds].
Step 3. Select the bit right for your Windows system, then click [Download Build].
Step 4. Decompress the downloaded file. Open the [bin] folder and put [ffmpeg.exe] into the [System 32] folder.
Step 5. Search [cmd] in the search bar, then right-click [Run as administrator] to run Command Prompt.
Step 6. Input [C:\Windows\System32\ffmpeg.exe –i D:2019.MOV D:2019.MP4] and press the Enter key to run. The iPhone video can be successfully converted to MP4.
Note[C:\Windows\System32\ffmpeg.exe]: the position of ffmpeg.exe;
[D:2019.MOV]: the position and the name of the file that you want to convert;
[D:2019.MP4]: the output position, the file name and the output format of the target video file.
In this example, the video is named as “MP4” after the conversion. You can set the other names by yourself.
