Generally, 4k refers to the resolution 4096*2160. Let’s make an example to make it clear. In a broad sense, the videos reaching to 3840*2160 can be called as 4K videos. Yet, we usually view 4K blue-ray disc and 4K blue-ray REMUX videos because of the higher bit rates and image quality. If we don’t get such resources, we will try to accept the 4K videos transferred from the 4K blue-ray disc. The cracked 4K blue-ray disc can be made to the copies. These copies share the same formats with the 4K blue-ray disc, namely ISO file and BDMV file, which are the main sources of 4K movies. 4K WEB-DL, another kind of video, is downloaded from the streaming media on different websites. Many videos, especially the movies pulled from the theaters, will be released on the video platforms. Some video websites, like Tencent Video and iQiYi.com, will download or copy to record these movies and then offer users to download from the 4K channel. Due to the small size, these 4K WEB-DL videos and movies can be played quickly and downloaded easily but they are not outstanding in the bit rate, image quality and audio effects.

All in all, given the sound and image quality, we can sort the order: 4K blue-ray disc ≥ 4K blue-ray REMUX video ＞ 4K blue-ray copy ＞ 4K WEB-DL video. That is to say, the copies of the cracked 4K blue-ray disc are the 4K ultra HD movies accepted by most of us.

Part 4: How to Download 4K Movies and Videos?
