Summary YouTube is one of the hottest video sharing websites. Users can save YouTube videos to the local disk. Yet, if you use these videos as your materials, it is easy to infringe other’s copyrights. How to bypass YouTube Content ID with a movie maker?
YouTube Content ID, including video ID and audio ID, is a system that helps you identify copyright. It can compare the uploaded audios and videos with the contents registered with Content ID and check whether they contain infringement.
If the uploaded video matches with the published content, the video will get a Content ID claim. Then, the copyright owner can choose one of the three actions to take on the material that matches theirs: track, block and monetize.
1. Block
The copyright owner can block the tortious video from being viewed. Even though it is uploaded again, it will be deleted. If the infringer repeats such action, the account will be blocked, too.
2. Track
Of course, some copyright owners share their videos for marketing or building a buzz. They can track the video’s viewership statistics used for product analysis. The infringer will not be notified which videos are tracked by the owner.
3. Monetize
This is a way that benefits the copyright owner, the infringer and YouTube. The owner monetizes the video by running advertisement against it. Then, the profits will be distributed proximately by the owner and YouTube.
How to Bypass YouTube Content ID with a Movie Maker?
YouTube Content ID compares the heat maps generated from the videos. Even though the videos are not identical with each other, the newly uploaded one will get a Content ID claim. Therefore, in order to bypass the Content ID system, people try to modify the display of the heat maps. Usually, they use a movie maker to re-edit the downloaded YouTube video, such as flipping over and zooming in the screen, making some parts free from audios, adding watermarks and special effects.
ReminderSometimes, when you have to use the other people’s videos, you can download or record them and then save to the local disk. If you want to know how to download YouTube videos, please refer to this article.
