1. Download and install Renee SecureSilo.

2. Enter the password to open the software. If you are a new user, you should set the password.

3. Click [Encrypt Files] > [Create Silo] to create a virtual disk.

4. Name the virtual disk and set the storage position. Then, click [Next].

1. Create a new folder in the disk which you save sensitive data in. Then right click the target folder and then select [Properties] in the menu.

2. Click [Advanced] in [General] tab.

3. Check [Encrypt contents to secure data] in the pop-up window. Click [OK] to save the settings.

4. Click [OK] in the next pop-up window to confirm the properties changes. Then users can put the senstive data to the folder.

How to decrypt the folder

Right click the encrypted folder and then select [Properties] from the menu. Then please uncheck the item [Encrypt contents to secure data] after accessing [Advanced] option in [General] tab.

Attention: Please note that this method can not be applied to all Windows system. For example, Windows 10 Home version can not encrypt folder with this method. So, if your computer is installed with this version, please encrypt folder with the above 2 software.
