As for the format of the extracted sounds, you should consider whether it will be transferred to a mobile phone. If so, you can save it as MP3; if it is used on the computer, you can use WAV. Next, we will introduce MP3 and WAV.

1. MP3

MP3 is the technology of audio data compression. The file size of MP3 is very small but the quality is not bad. Therefore, it is widely used in streaming audios. Since the phone space is limited, MP3 is better.

2. WAV

WAV is also one of the common audio formats. The outstanding feature is high quality and computer-available. If the audio should be in some scenes that have high demands for audio quality, WAV is suitable. But the file size of WAV is large. The device should have large storage capacity.
