How to Reset iPhone password with Renee iPassFix:

1. Download and install Renee iPassFix. Then open the software.

2. Connect target iPhone to computer and then select [Remove Device Passcode].

3. Select the iOS version from the drop-down list and then click [Unlock] to download firmware. Also, users can import firmware manually.

4. After unlocking the iPhone successfully, please disconnect the iPhone from computer. Then reactivate the iPhone.

Option 2: Unlock iPhone with iTunes

If you have ever created the backup with iTunes for your iPhone, you can connect the iPhone to iTunes successfully without entering password. If you have never backed up iPhone with other computer, this method will not work. Method 1 and method 3 could be helpful.

Here is the steps about how to unlock iPhone with iTunes.

1. Connect iPhone to computer via USB cable. Then open iTunes. If you are using Mac with Mac OS Catalina 10.15, please find iTunes in Finder.

2. iTunes will start to sync and backup your device.

3. After sync, please click [Restore iPhone].

4. After recovery, please reactive the iPhone and restore the backup to iPhone. You can click [Recover from Mac or PC]. After connecting to iTunes, iTunes will restore the latest backup. And the lock screen will be solved.

Option 3: Unlock with iCloud

If you have enabled “Find my iPhone” function in your iPhone, iCloud could help you to erase the device. If you have sync the data in iPhone with iCloud (Not iTunes), please try this option.

If the “Find my iPhone” function has been turned on, you can erase the device and delete the password for your iPhone at the same time. Also, this method will also remove all data and settings in iPhone.

Here is how it goes:

1. Turn on your computer and go to iCloud.com in your browser. Then enter your Apple ID and password.

2. Select the target device in the list after clicking [All Devices] in “Find my iPhone”.

3. Click [Erase iPhone].

Attention, please make sure target device is connected to the Internet. If your device is offline, it will be erased once it get online at any time.

Option 4: Unlock with Recovery Mode

If you can not recover the iPhone by restoring backup with iTunes or erase device with iCloud, removing password under recovery mode is the last choice. Please note that all data and settings will be erased. If you have backed up the device beforehand, you can restore the backup. Or you will lose all data forever.

Please follow steps below:

1. Download and install the latest iTunes. If you have opened the software, please exit.

2. Keep iPhone connected. Then follow steps here untill you get into the recovery mode：

● iPhone models with Face ID: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Power button until your device begins to restart. Continue holding the Power button until your device goes into recovery mode.

● iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery mode screen.

● iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the Top (or Side) and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery mode screen.

● iPhone 6s or earlier iPhone with Home button: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery mode screen.

You will see this screen once iPhone get into recovery mode:

3. Click [Recover] in the pop up window to update iOS.
