① Right-click on the target video, and go to [Open with] > [Photos]. Then your video will be opened in the Photos app.
② Click [Edit & Create] and select the functions in the drop-down menu. Now you can trim your video.

⑪ Subtitle: select the [Subtitle] tab. You can add subtitles to your video. Besides, the font style, color, size and position can be set for the subtitles.
⑫ Add opening/ending: select the [Opening/Ending] tab. The opening and ending can make the video more attractive.
⑬ Merge video: select your target video, then click [Merge all into one] to join these videos into one. Besides, you can add some transition effects to these videos.
⑭ Convert format: in the [Output Format] bar, you can select the target format, then click [Start] to save the video.
Part 3. Trim Videos with Windows Movie Maker in Windows 10
Windows Movie Maker is a simple, free video editor and suitable for easy video trimming. This software only supports to output WMV videos. If you want a highly-compatible, multi-functional, professional video editor, Method 2 is better for you.
① Select the target video. In the software, you can add music, transitions, pan and zoom effects.
② Click the [Edit] tab to trim and split the video. What’ s more, you can adjust the video volume and the playback speed.
Part 4. Trim Videos with Avidemux in Windows 10
