2. Use Filmora video editing software to add mosaic to the video
Filmora is a free video editing tool offering functions like cutting/cropping videos, adding text, adjusting brightness/volume, adding transitions, and rotating/flipping videos. Adding a mosaic is also simple with this tool, with the following steps:
Download, install, and run Filmora. Import the video files by clicking “Import Media Files Here.” Drag the red timeline to the desired mosaic location. Right-click the video file, then select “Effects” and “Mosaic” from the options.
After selection, a rectangular marquee with a mosaic effect will appear on the video screen. Drag the marquee to adjust its position or modify the mosaic parameters. Once done, click OK to return to the initial editing interface. If no further editing is needed, click Export in the top menu bar, select the desired video format, and save it to the preset location.

II. Summary
The above are the three methods that can add mosaics to videos. Although they can all achieve the purpose of mosaicing videos, there are some differences in operation difficulty and function configuration.
Filmora and EaseUS require setting the mosaic appearance time via the timeline, involving multiple steps, making them suitable for users with video editing experience. However, Renee Video Editor Pro allows direct setting of the mosaic’s start and end times, with all settings in one interface, making it simpler and more suitable for novices.
Regarding the functional configuration of the software, the functions provided by the three are relatively similar, but there are also differences.
EaseUS Video Editor offers a wider range of special editing functions like special effects and subtitles. Filmora, similar to Renee Video Editor Pro, includes video editing and screen recording but has a more complex interface, making it less suitable for novices.
Renee Video Editor Pro offers a comprehensive functional configuration and a simple operation interface. It provides output formats tailored for different devices, eliminating the need for users to research compatible formats. Overall, it is an ideal video editing tool for novices.
