Part 1: How to Create New Album on iPhone?

The iPhone album is used to organize and save photos in different groups. Next, let’s see how to create a new album on iPhone.

Step 1: Unlock iPhone and enter into [Photos]. Tap [+] to create a new album at the upper-left corner.

Step 2: Tap [New Album] and then name for the album. Tap [Save] to keep this album.

Step 3: Add some photos into the album and tap [Done] to save them. This album will be visible under [My Albums].

The iPhone album is not merely used to save photos. There are some editing functions.

1. Move Photos to Any Album

You can follow these steps to move the photos to the created album.

Enter into Photos and tap [Select] at the upper-right corner. Then, select the wanted photos; tap [Add To] at the bottom and [Add to Album]; select one of the albums.

2. Sort Photos in Albums

It is very easy to sort the photos within the album. Just move the photos to anywhere you like.

3. Delete Photos from Album

If you wrongly put a photo into the album, you can remove it at any time. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Tap [Select] to select the photo and then tap the trash bin icon at the lower-right corner.

Step 2: Select [Remove from Album] or [Delete]. The former option means it is not included in this album anymore. If you choose the latter option, the photo will be deleted permanently.

TipsYou can delete the photos from [Recent items] and [Collections]. If you accidentally delete a photo, you have 30 days to get it back from your Recently Deleted album.

4. Quickly Search Photos

iPhone will mark the important information for each photo, such as location and time. That helps you quickly search the wanted photo. Here are the steps.

Step 1: Open Photos and tap the search icon. You can find the photo according to the system categories.
