Apps Keep Crashing
● Update Apps. Go to App Store on iPhone or iPad and check for updates for crashed Apps. If yes, update immediately.
● Force exit and restart the Apps. If the problem persists after several attempts, you can only try other methods.
● Restart iPhone or iPad. Check if the App works normally after restarting.
● Delete and reinstall the App.
Scheduled Alarms do not React
● Check whether the Mute mode is activated.
● Create the alarms again. You can delete all added alarms and exit the App. And then create the alarms again.
● Check if a third party alarm App is installed. If yes, delete this App which produces conflicts with the built-in alarm App.
Cellular does not Work
● Activate and deactivate Airplane Mode. Open [Settings], activate [Airplane Mode] and then deactivate it 30 seconds later.
● Check if the carrier update is available. Open [Settings], [General] and [Information]. If there are updates available, you will find an option on the operator update.
● Restart your iPhone or reset the network settings or all settings. Click on [Settings], [General] and [Reset].
● Contact the operator for a remote update.
Note: In the iOS 12.1 version, the cellular connection on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR has been fixed. You can update the iOS for repair.
AirDrop does not Work
● Check the network of your device. Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. And a few minutes later, turn them on.
● Restart your iPhone and iPad.
● Open [Settings], [General], [Reset] and [Reset Network Settings].
Note: The AirDrop problem is fixed in iOS 12.4.1. You can update the iOS to fix the problem.
Battery Drains Quickly & Device Overheats
● If you are putting on a phone case, remove it so that the phone can dissipate heat well.
● Press the Home button twice or swipe up the Apps you are not used. Exit all the Apps running in the background.
● Check the iCloud service. Sometimes the overheat issue results from the iCloud service which may gets stuck in the background. Therefore, go back to [Settings], [Your username] and [iCloud]. Check the working status of all the iCloud services.
Camera Fails to Work
● Exit the camera App by force. Press the Home button twice or swipe up on the screen and tap the camera to exit.
● Restart iPhone or iPad.
● Reset all settings. Click on [Settings], [General], [Reset] and [Reset All Settings].
Note: The iOS 12.4.1 version allows to repair the cameras of the iPhone. You can update the iOS to solve this problem.
Flashlight does not Work
● If you cannot use the flashlight when taking photos, exit the camera App and restart the App.
● Restart iPhone or iPad.
● If the previous two methods can not solve this problem, you can try to reset the device to factory settings via iTunes. Before this, please backup important files in the device. Otherwise, all data in the device will be deleted.
Note: iOS version 13.1.2 fixes the problem of starting the flashlight. You can update to this system to get out of this problem.
GPS Gets Errors
GPS errors are still a major concern after updating to iOS 12, like updating the failed position, no GPS signal, incorrect positioning, tracking slow positioning, etc. If you have this kind of problem on your iPhone or iPad, you can follow the solutions to fix it.
● Restart your iPhone or iPad.
● Connect your device to the network and check the network connection status.
● Activate Airplane Mode and deactivate it 15 seconds later.
● Check the location service. Click [Settings], [Privacy] and [Location Services]. And then, check if you have authorized access to your position in the target App. You can allow access always or when the app is active.
● Reset location and privacy. Click successively on [Settings], [General], [Reset] and [Reset Location & Privacy]. Once the settings have been restored, the App cannot access your location until you authorize again.
Common Bluetooth Problems
● Check if Bluetooth is activated on your iPhone and hold your iPhone near your Bluetooth.
● Check if your Bluetooth is activated and that the battery is fully charged.
● Reset the network settings, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and password, cellular, and the VPN and APN settings. Click [Settings], [General], [Reset] and [Reset Network Settings].
Note: iOS 13.1.2 has fixed the problem of Bluetooth connection to the car. You can update the iOS to fix this problem.
