Part 1: Why iPod Cannot Sync with iTunes

If iTunes cannot recognize your iPod, you can see the words “unknown error” or “error 0xE”. Here are main reasons:

The iOS device hasn’t been unlocked.

iTunes is not the latest version.

iPod is off power.

The cable is not original or damaged.

Because of the incompatible third-party software (security software included), iPod won’t sync with iTunes.

The multimedia files listed in iTunes library may be stored in different places.

1. Use the original cable to connect between iPod and computer; then turn on and unlock iTunes.

2. Update iTunes to the latest version.

3. Modify the settings of the security software.
