How to transfer files with Renee Passnow:
1. Download and install Renee Passnow.
2. Open the software. Select one option from [Crate a Live USB] and [Create a Live CD]. Then, select [x64] or [x86] according to your computer. If you want to factory reset the Lenovo computer, here are three methods.
Method 1: Use OneKey Recovery to Factory Reset Lenovo Computer
Lenovo OneKey Recovery 8.0 is a software preloaded on ThinkPad/ IdeaPad/ YOGA laptop, designed to factory restore the computer. In some earlier Thinkpad models, you should press the blue button “ThinkVantage” to restore the system.
If you never reinstall the system or recover from the system image, you can use the built-in recovery function to reset the computer in Windows OS. Here are the steps to factory reset the Lenovo computer:
1. Check the laptop body to find out the NOVO key (Recovery key).
2. Power off the Lenovo laptop. Then, connect the power source to the laptop and press on the NOVO key. When the Novo Button Menu pops up, press the down arrow to select [System Recovery] option and then press [Enter] to get into the recovery environment.
3. Under the OneKey Recovery mode, select [Restore from initial backup] and click on [Next].

Method 2: Factory Reset Lenovo Computer with Windows Function
If the computer is bootable, you can try to reset it through the built-in function in Windows OS.
1. Click on the setting icon in the Start Menu to go to Windows Settings.
2. In Windows Settings, select [Update & Security].
3. At the left sidebar, select the tab [Recovery]. Then, click on [Get started] under [Reset this PC].
4. In the pop-up window, select a way to reset the PC, [Keep my files] or [Remove everything].
5. After that, the system will list you the applications that are going to be deleted. Confirm and click on [Next] to reset the computer. As it is finished, the computer will return to the factory settings.
Method 3: Factory Reset Lenovo Computer When it cannot Boot
This method fit the corrupted Windows OS. It can help you factory reset the computer, free entrance into the system.
1. If you cannot boot the computer over twice, the system will enter the Windows Recovery Environment. Then, select [Troubleshoot].
2. Click on [Reset this PC].
3. Select [Keep my files] or [Remove everything]. It is noted that all data will be erased if you select the second option. Please back up your files well.
4. After selecting the second option, continue to select [All drives] > [Only the drive where Windows is installed]. If you select [All drives], the process is quite time-consuming.
5. Finally, click on [Reset] and wait for 30 – 60 minutes. During the restoration process, the computer will reboot for several times. You Lenovo computer can be safely factory reset if you follow the prompts.
