1. Go to Renee File Protector. Then select [Lock File] in [Hard Disk]. Click [Lock Folder] on the right pane and then select target folder in the pop up window. After that, files will be locked automatically.
2. If you want to open the folder, please go to Renee File Protector and then check the target files. Click [Unlock] on the right side.
Lock External Memory Device
1. Connect target external memory device to computer and then open Renee File Protector. Select [Lock Folder] in [External Disk] item. Select target data in the pop up window.
2. Set a password on the related folder. You can select to decrypt the locked folder with the master password of Renee File Protector. Or you can also set a new password on a folder. Besides, guest password is also available, with which users can just read the files only.
3. To unlock the target file, please check the target files in related function and then click [Unlock] to enter the password you have set.
Monitor Function
1. Find [Monitor] in [Hard Disk]. Then please click [Add] on the right side. Select target file/folder you want to monitor in the pop up window.
2. Then all activities of the target will be recorded.
3. If you do not need to monitor the file/folder anymore, select the target one and click [Remove] on the right pane. Also, you can click [Clear] to remove all records.

b. Select [Encrypt Files] > [Create Silo] > name for the private disk and set the storage position.
c. Set a password and click [Next].
d. Choose a disk size.

Disguise Folder
a. Select [Disguise] > [Disguise Folder] > select the target folder.
b. Set a disguise password and select a disguise type.
c. Soon, the disguised folder will be listed in the main interface.
d. Highlight the target item and click [Remove Disguise] at the lower right corner to remove the settings.
