Let’s learn about MKV and PS3. MKV, Matroska Video Files, is a file container featuring as high compatibility. PS3 is the family game console developed by Sony which supports many formats, including audios and videos.

a. Download Renee Video Editor Pro.
b. Select [Video Toolbox].
c. Click [Add Files] to select the target file and click [Open] to confirm.
d. On the above menu, select the tools to optimize the video. Then, select a suitable format in [Output Format] and click [Start] to convert the format.
e. Wait for a while. A window saying that [Converted the file successfully] will pop up.

Convertio.com is an online converter. But, it has limit to the file size, up to 100MB.
Search [convertio] online and get access to it. Then, click [Video Converter] on the top. Next, upload the target file and select a format. Finally, click [Convert] to begin converting the file.
3. Office-Converter.com
This website offers users abundant formats. On this web, we can convert a video to many other formats. Yet, the web arrangement is too narrow with many details, not friendly to users. Besides, it doesn’t process fast when converting formats.
Search “office-converter.com” online and get access to it. Then, find out the tab “Video” and your target video format. Next, click [Start Conversion] and select [Add Files] to upload the video file. Finally, click [Start Convert] to convert the format.
Part 3: Better Play MKV on PS3
Since the format conversion can change the data of the video file, the visual effect will be different. At this time, we can also use Renee Video Editor Pro to optimize the video.

c. We can cut the video in the function [Cut]. The marks can be dragged to locate the start and end points. Then, click [OK] to cut the video.
