Part 3: Methods to Solve iPhone Boot Failure
Besides, sticking at start up logo could be caused by:
● Update failure
● Jailbreak or App installation errors。

1. Force Restart
Force restart for different iPhone models:
iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Top (or Side) button and the Volume Down buttons until you see the Apple logo.
iPhone 6s or earlier iPhone with Home button: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons until you see the Apple logo.
2. Charge iPhone for Over 30 Minutes
3. Recovery Mode
1. Open iTunes on your computer and then connect the iPhone to computer with USB cable.
2. Get your iPhone into recovery mode with steps below:
● iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery mode screen.
● iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the Top (or Side) and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery mode screen.
● iPhone 6s or earlier iPhone with Home button: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery mode screen.
You will see this screen once iPhone get into recovery mode:
Attention: [Recover] will erase all data and settings in related iPhone. All data can not be restored if you do not backup beforehand.
4. DFU Mode
1. Get iPhone into DFU mode.
▶ Different iPhone will have different steps to access DFU mode.
For iPhone 6s or earlier iPhone:
1. Shut iPhone down and then connect iPhone to computer with USB cable.
2. Press and hold the Top (or Side) button for 3 seconds, then press Home button. Hold these 2 buttons for 10 seconds.。
3. Release the Top (or Side) button and keep holding the Home button for 5 seconds. If the screen is black and iTunes does not pop up any notification, then your device is in DFU mode.
For iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus:
1. Shut iPhone down and then connect iPhone to computer with USB cable.
2. Press and hold the Top (or Side) button for 3 seconds, then press Volume Down button. Hold these 2 buttons for 10 seconds.
3. Release the Top (or Side) button and keep holding the Volume Down button for 5 seconds. Nothing will be displayed on the screen when the device is in DFU mode. If open, iTunes will alert you that a device is detected in recovery mode.
For iPhone 8 or later:
1. Connect the device to a computer using a USB cable. Quick-press the Volume Up button then the Volume Down button
2. Hold down the Side button. Once the screen goes black, hold down both the Side button and Volume Down button.
3. After 5 seconds, release the Side button while continuing to hold down the Volume Down button.
4. Nothing will be displayed on the screen when the device is in DFU mode. If open, iTunes will alert you that a device is detected in recovery mode.
2. Finally, click “Recover” in the pop up window in iTunes after iPhone accessing DFU mode.
5. Contact Apple Store
