How to record voice on PC with Renee Audio Tools?

If you want to record your voices, you should connect the microphone to the computer and then use Renee Audio Tools to record voices. Here are the steps.

Step 1: Download and install Renee Audio Tools. Open the software and get into [Recorder].

Step 2: Select [Microphone] as the sound source and set MP3 as the output format. Next, click on [Record] to record your voice. During the process, click on [Pause] to temporarily stop recording, or [Stop] to end recording. Finally, the recorded file will be saved in the preset folder.

In addition, you can use Renee Audio Tools to edit the audio file, such as cutting, merging files and converting formats. Here are the steps.

Step 1: Download and install Renee Audio Tools. Select one of the tools in the main interface. In the case, get into [Converter].

Functions of Renee Audio Tools:

Recorder: Collect sounds from computer and microphone.

Cutter: Shorten the time length, adjust the playback speed, voice and volume.

Merger: Combine several files into one.

Converter: Convert between audio formats. Also, adjust the playback speed, change voice and mix sounds.

Video to MP3: Convert video to MP3, WAV, AAC and M4A.

ID3 editor: Fill in the information of the audio file, such as artiest, song name, album name, publish year and music genres.

Step 2: Next, click on [Add Files] to select the audio files.

Step 4: Select the start and end time to cut the audio file. Set the fade-in/out effect and volume. Then, select one of the voice effects to change. Finally, click on [OK] to save these settings and return to the main interface. Click on [Start] to output the audio file.

2. Use RecordPad

RecordPad can record microphone sounds and music at one click . It supports to set the recording time and the automatic recording schedule. However, it merely supports WAV, MP3, AIFF and FLAC.

3. Use Windows Voice Recorder

Windows Voice Recorder is built-in application in Windows 10. User can record voice in the clear interface and mark the important moment during the record. Besides, the recorded file is allowed to cut. M4A is the default format.

By default, the recorder cannot record sounds from microphone. You should click at the setting icon and select [Microphone settings], and then switch to record sound from microphone.

4. Voice Record

Voice Record is the recording software in Windows. But it restricts the recording duration and uploads the records to OneDrive. Few formats are available within the application.
