You could also record an audio using built-in recorder on Windows 10 except the third-party recorder. But please note that auto record isn’t available in built-in recorder on Windows 10.

Step 1: Type in “Voice Recorder” in the search box and then press “Enter”.

Step 2: Play the streaming audio after the recorder is enabled. Then click the microphone icon to start recording.

Step 3: During recording, you can click “Pause recording” to interrupt it or click “Stop recording” to end it.

Tips: You could directly click “Play” to listen to the recorded audio. You could also click “Trim” to edit the audio.

Step 4: Finally, click “See more” at the bottom-right corner and select “Open file location”. You will see the recorded audio file.

How to Record Streaming Audio or Live Stream on Smart Phone?

We usually listen to streaming audio and watch streaming video or live stream on PC, but mobile phone is also an important device for us to get access to such media. When we watch an amazing streaming video or live stream on smart phone, we could record them immediately. Besides, we could also record English language audio on smart phone. Below are the detailed steps of recording streaming audio and video or live stream on smart phone.

Solution 1: Record Screen on iPhone

Note: This way only can be used on iPhone with IOS 12 or later version.

Step 1: Go to “Settings” on your iPhone.

Step 2: Click “Control Center”.

Step 3: Select the item “Customize Controls”.

Step 4: Hit the “+” green button next to the “Screen Recording”.

Step 5: Launch the “Control Center” and you will see the screen recording icon.

Lower intermediate course is appropriate for English beginners. It’s suggested to learn at least one course every day and try to understand the content with the help of vocabulary and grammar reference. As for the learners who have already learned English or speak English well, upper intermediate and intermediate courses could be a better choice. Besides, “News Report”, “6 Minute English” and BBC News are also strongly recommended.

Option 2: Use Voice Input on Google Translate

Because Google Translate doesn’t support to upload audio file, we need to change voice output function on Windows before using voice input tool provided by Google Translate to appropriately recognize.

Step 1: Right-click “Speaker” and then choose the “Recording devices”.

Step 2: Switch to the option “Recording”. Right-click “Microphone” and select “Disable”. Then click “OK”.

Step 3: Open Google Translate. Click the Microphone icon to enable voice input and play a video or audio file. Google Translate will start recognizing the sound.
