How to record TV programs with Renee Video Editor Pro?
Step 1: Download and install Renee Video Editor Pro, select the “Screen Recorder” option on the home page.
Step 2: Select the video source and audio source to be recorded and the location where the recorded file needs to be saved. After the setting is complete, open the TV program page to be recorded.
Step 3: Click Record. Drag the option box to select the TV program area, then click Record in the lower right corner. For full-screen recording, the software will start recording immediately after clicking the button.
Step 4: During the recording process, you can pause or continue any time. After recording, click the small square button in the recording box in the lower right corner, and the recorded TV program will be saved to the path you originally set.
To perform personalized editing on recorded TV programs, use Renee Video Editor Pro. On the main page, select Video Toolbox to edit the content. This software allows for video cutting, adding special effects, watermark subtitles, and editing titles and endings.
If the TV program you want to record is too long and you don’t want to wait, you can use the automatic recording function in Renee Video Editor Pro to start recording automatically after selecting the recording time. The steps to set this function are as follows:
Step 1: Enter the main page, click the “Auto” automatic recording button in the lower right corner of the dialog box, and you can enter the automatic recording setting page to adjust the recording time.
Step 2: On the operation interface, users can set the recording’s start and end times, including date, week, and specific time. To maintain simplicity, the recording software can be hidden. After recording, the software can automatically exit and shut down, enhancing user-friendliness.
Step 3: Set the area that needs to be recorded, and wait for the automatic recording conditions to be executed.
Method 2: Record through the screen recording tool that comes with Windows
Although the Screen Recorder that comes with Windows can meet basic recording needs, it lacks personalized editing and scheduled recording features found in Renee Video Editor Pro. If these features are not required, you can use it to record TV programs. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Use the shortcut key “Win + G” to bring up the recording function menu bar.
Step 2: Open the TV program page you want to record, and click the third small dot button in the menu bar to start recording.
Step 3: After the operation is completed, the recorded content will be saved in the “%USERPROFILE%\Videos\Captures” folder.
II. What are the recording sources of TV programs?
