Case 1: You Set Microsoft Account As A Sign-in Option and Also Have An Administrator Account

If you have a Microsoft account but without administrator privilege, you may sign in Windows 10 with administrator account and then remove the Microsoft account in Windows settings.

Step 5: Before you delete the target user account, Windows usually asks whether you would like to keep files or not. You may select “Delete Files” or “Keep Files”.

Step 6: In the “Confirm Deletion” window, click “Delete Account”.
Step 7: After you delete the Microsoft account successfully, you will not see it in the “Manage account” screen.

Case 2: Microsoft Account Was Set As A Sign-in Option. No Administrator Account Is Available.

Step 4: Select “PassNow!”.

The created administrator account named “Reneelab” with administrator rights, and its default password is “123456789”. You are able to change the password of target account with this new created administrator.

There are local account and Microsoft account in Windows 10. If you want to remove Microsoft account, you can change the sign-in option from Microsoft account to local account.
