◎ Main Functions of Renee File Protector
- Hide Data: Once the target file, folder or disk is hide, they will be invisible.
- Deny Read: Others can not open the protected files/folders/disks without authority.
- Deny Write: When the data is protected with Deny Write function, any editing behavior is forbidden.
- Encrypt: You can password-protect a file or folder.

◎ How to Hide Data
Method 1
Step 1: Launch Renee File Protector. Click “Hide Data”/”Hide Folders”/”Hide Drives” according to your needs.
Step 2: Click “Add” to add one or more files/folders you want to hide.
Step 3: Click “Hide Files”/”Hide Folders”/”Hide Disk” button in accordance. Then the target will be hide.
Method 2
Right-click on the file, folder or disk that you want to hide and select “Renee File Protector” then “Hide”.
1. If you want to display the hidden data, you can select files,folders or disk you have hidden and then click “Show Files”/”Show Folders”/”Show Drives”.
2. If you want to remove one or more files/folders/drives from the list, please select the target and then click “Remove”. And “Clear” is to empty the list.
3.Similar operations should be taken when you try to use “Deny Read” and “Deny Write” function.
◎ How to Encrypt Data
Method
Step 1: Right-click on the file/folders/disk that you want to password-protect and select “Renee File Protector” then “Lock”.
Step 2: Enter your password in the pop up window which requires the password of Renee File Protector. After entering, your target data will be encrypted.
