For example, use system rescue tool Renee PassNow. It can not only transfer data but also reset Windows login password. Please refer to the detailed instruction on how to use Renee PassNow to begin data transfer.
The First Part: Use DISM command to repair Windows 10 image
Step 1: Type “cmd” in search box, right click “Command Prompt” and click “Run as administrator”.
In the command prompt window, please type in: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth, press “Enter”.
Note: CheckHealth only detect the damaged files but not restore.

When you execute the above commands, DISM will automatically replace the damaged files with Windows Update. If there’s something wrong with Windows Update, you can use “install.esd” file as repair source.
1.Type “cmd” in search box to open “Command Prompt” and run as administrator. If your system has been upgraded to Windows 10, “install.esd” file is probably still on C: drive. Then type in: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Install.esd, press “Enter”.
2. If the file is on other drive, please type in: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source: file path\install.esd, press “Enter”. (Please replace the file path with the drive where your Install.esd file locates.)
