- Three or more characters from user account cannot be contained in passwords.
Password Must Meet Complexity Requirements – How to Enable or Disable in Windows 7/10?
Step 1: Press “Win + R” key to open “Run”, type in “gpedit.msc” and click “OK” to open Local Group Policy Editor.
Step 2: In the left panel, select them in order: “Computer Configuration” – “Windows Settings” – “Security Settings” – “Account Policies” – “Password Policy”.
Step 3: On the right panel, double click “Password must meet complexity requirements”. If you want to enable it, just select “Enable” and click on “OK”. If you want to disable it, please select “Disable” and then click on “OK”.
